Sylviane Kasende brings more than 10 years of diverse experience in health care to Spine Team Texas. She is a skilled nurse practitioner with experience in musculoskeletal, neuropathic and interventional pain management. Sylviane earned her Master of Science Degree in nursing, adult health nurse practitioner program from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, TX. She also graduated magna cum laude from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.
Sylviane’s prior responsibilities have included comprehensive patient assessments and care plans, long-term management of diseases, and chronic pain management at various healthcare centers in North Texas. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Association.
Sylviane is from the Democratic Republic of Congo and moved to Texas in 2002. She can read, write, and fluently speak French. Sylviane is married with 4 children and enjoys spending time with family, travelling in the United States and abroad, reading, and cooking.
