Dr. Egle Bávry is a fellowship-trained anesthesiologist with vast experience in the interventional management of back, neck, and other musculoskeletal pain.
Prior to joining Spine Team Texas, Dr. Bávry served as a physician at a Veterans Hospital in Gainsville, FL. While there, she also served as the Chronic Pain Anesthesiology Service Section Chief. Previously, she was a physician in the Pain Management Department at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH and a physician at a pain treatment center in Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. Bávry was chief fellow in her pain management fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH where she also completed her internship and residency. During her residency, she earned first place for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Anesthesia Resident and Fellow Research Day and second place for Midwest Anesthesiology Resident Conference. She graduated with honors from Vilnius University Medical School in Lithuania.
Dr. Bavry was chair of the University of Florida Pain Fellowship Clinical Competence Committee where she ensured that fellows were well-prepared to treat patients. She has served as a mentor for Women in Neuromodulation, part of the North American Neuromodulation Society. She was also an instructor in cryotherapies for chronic pain at Racz Interventional Pain workshops. Dr. Bavry has conducted numerous research studies, medical presentations, and publications. Dr. Bavry is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology Pain Medicine and is a Diplomate of American Board of Anesthesiology.
