Mike Matthews, PT, DPT

Mike Matthews, PT, DPT
Physical therapist, focused on the rehabilitation of the spine

With a doctorate of physical therapy (DPT) from Texas Tech University Health Science Center, Mike offers the most advanced knowledge and training to the patients at Spine Team Texas. During his extensive clinical training in manual therapy by fellows and certified specialists, Mike acquired hands-on skills and high standards for patient care and physical rehabilitation.

Before joining Spine Team Texas, Mike was an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist at Owens-White Rehab Center in Lubbock, Texas. Additionally, he practiced as an acute care physical therapist at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. At Covenant, he previously practiced as an acute care rehab tech for five years while obtaining his undergraduate degree.
