Jeff is a certified physician assistant with extensive experience in orthopedic surgery and emergency medical care including history and physical exams, ordering and evaluation of diagnostics, medication administration, and determining the diagnosis, treatment and disposition of patients. Adkins began as a registered nurse at the University Medical Center (UMC) emergency department in Lubbock, Texas. His six year tenure at UMC included the supervision of 20-30 nursing and ancillary staff members. He ultimately returned to work as a physician assistant at UMC for four more years upon completion of his PA training.
